Offer description

Are you an experienced agricultural sales professional who loves building strong relationships and helping customers achieve great animal health outcomes?

Agritrade (a division of PGG Wrightson) is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Territory Manager to join our high‐performing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to represent trusted animal health product ranges (including Nexan), partner with vet and over the counter retail customers, and drive growth across your territory.

As our Territory Manager, you'll be the key animal health specialist supporting retailers, vets, and farm clients for the Mid-South Island region. You'll promote market‐leading products, identify new opportunities, and deliver technical advice that builds confidence and drives sales.

What we're looking for:

Five plus years' experience in relationship‐based sales (agricultural sector preferred and prior Animal Health sales experience would be an advantage)

Strong knowledge of NZ animal health systems and seasonal requirements

Qualification in Animal Health or Agriculture (desired but not essential)

Proven ability to identify, win, and grow customer accounts

Excellent communication and ability to present to individuals and groups in an engaging manner

Strong customer focus, proactive mindset, and proven success meeting sales targets

Ability to build credible relationships with vets, farmers, retailers, and industry bodies.

What you'll be doing:

Managing and growing relationships with animal health retailers, vets, and farmers, with approximately 20% of your time being spent on-farm

Actively promoting and selling Animal Health products

Identifying and converting new business opportunities

Providing training, seasonal updates, and on‐farm advisory support

Planning and delivering promotional days, field events, and industry activities

Maintaining sales records and monthly reporting.

You'll be part of a well‐respected agricultural business with strong market presence and a collaborative team culture. At PGG Wrightson, we're committed to developing our people.

You'll have access to ongoing training, a supportive team environment, and opportunities to build strong industry networks. We offer a competitive remuneration package and the chance to work in a role that provides variety, autonomy and meaningful work that directly supports NZ farmers.

If you're passionate about animal health, love building relationships, and want to make a real impact in the agricultural sector, we'd love to hear from you.
