Assistant in Nursing – Acute and Restorative Care of the Elderly (ARC) Unit
We are looking for an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to support care in our specialised 42‐bed Acute & Restorative Care unit at the Nambour General Hospital, part of the Sunshine Coast Health (SCS) Medical Services Group.
Key Responsibilities
* Adhere to quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
* Understand responsibility for safety and quality; actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities and notify relevant office when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
* Participate in workplace supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti‐discrimination, workplace health and safety and ethical behaviour.
* Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Public Service Values.
Salary and Working Hours
Salary ranges from $69,499 to $76,097 per annum (full‐time) or $2,663.90–$2,916.80 per fortnight, equivalent to $35.05–$38.37 per hour (part‐time). Employer contribution to superannuation is 12.75% (Nurse Grade 1). Positions are available as multiple permanent full‐time and/or part‐time roles, hours negotiable.
