I’m looking for someone with construction experience to come and help build our house in Waratah, Newcastle, NSW. The work changes but could include:
- carpentry,
- painting,
- demolition,
- site cleaning,
- moving scaffold,
- Installing fixtures,
- and other building / construction tasks.
Ideally we are looking for someone who can work up a ladder or scaffold, has construction experience and is available for 3-12 months.
Part Time: up to 5 x 8hr days per week
Min 2 days/week - Max 5 days/week.
In this option we would be looking for:
- work in a semi-autonomous fashion.
- prior construction experience
- ability to solve problems and work on your own about 2/3 of the time.
The days and hours are flexible so you can arrange other parts of life - its not all about working I know ;)
Ideally we're looking for someone with building or trade experience to work for at least a few months but up to 1 year if you're hardworking and we get on. Someone who can work up a ladder or scaffold, has some life experience and makes good conversation.
