About the role
We have a full‐time Laundry Assistant role available in Bathurst. This role allows you to make a difference to Supported Employees' lives while contributing to our Commercial Laundry. You will work Monday‐Friday, 8 am‐4 pm. Training and ongoing support are provided.
Key responsibilities
* Operate state‐of‐the‐art laundry machinery such as ironer and pegger
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry area
* Work cooperatively in a team environment
* Assist Supported Employees in building work and social skills while working alongside them as a team
Ideal candidate
* Ability to stand and perform manual handling tasks for the full shift
* Can‐do attitude with willingness to get things done
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Positive and professional attitude and approach to work
Safety and qualifications
Our commitment to safety extends to vaccinations and relevant certifications. Applicants should be prepared with up‐to‐date First Aid Certificate, NDIS Worker Check and Working With Children Check.
