This role supports the people and capability service delivery and works closely with the leadership team to align HR initiatives to strategy with a strong focus on workforce planning and IR/ER excellence. Case management knowledge a must.
Key Responsibilities
* Coach and mentor teams to foster a positive high performing and safe culture
* Drive continuous improvement of HR practices through collaboration and influencing
* Execute HR strategies including performance management salary review engagement and succession planning
* Provide advice on underperformance misconduct disciplinary action and dismissals
* Manage end to end workplace investigations and grievance resolution
* Interpret Enterprise Agreements Awards and Contracts and provide compliant advice
* Support liaison with the Fair Work Commission regarding claims and documentation
* Assist with acquisitions structural change and HR transformation initiatives
* Deliver regular HR reporting and identify continuous improvement opportunities
Required Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Business
* Ideally AHRI membership
* Extensive knowledge of National Employment Standards and the Fair Work Act
* Solid experience managing high volume employee relations matters
* Strong knowledge of Awards and Enterprise Agreements
* Demonstrated understanding of procedural fairness and natural justice
* Ability to work autonomously
* Exceptional communication and influencing skills
* Strong commercial acumen and practical problem solving capability
* Passion for developing leaders and driving engagement
