As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist at Barlow Dental Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring our patients receive exceptional care.
This is a casual position ****** hours per week) based in our clinic in Warrnambool, VIC ****.
You will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clinical tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of our practice.
What you'll be doing
Greeting and checking in patients, managing the reception area and answering phone inquiries
Assisting dentists and dental hygienists during procedures, ensuring a clean and organised clinical environment
Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
Processing patient records, scheduling appointments and managing patient information
Ordering and maintaining inventory of dental supplies
Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience
Processing HICAPS claims and processing payments
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, Dental Receptionist or in a similar healthcare role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients of all ages
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail
Proficiency in using dental-specific software and computer systems
A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe and professional clinical environment
A passion for providing high-quality patient care and supporting the dental team
Good time-management skills and an eagerness to learn
Minimum age of 17 years or older is required for this position
