About the Role
The role of a BMS Controls Engineer involves ensuring the safe, efficient, and seamless operation of extra low voltage and building management systems at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
* Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safety-oriented mindset.
* System design and installation: Collaborate with the team to design and implement systems that integrate various building functions such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), lighting, and security.
* Programming and configuration: Provide expert support for programming controllers and sensors to monitor and control building systems in real-time and integrate new devices and platforms.
* System optimization: Analyze performance data to optimize energy usage, maintain occupant comfort, and meet energy efficiency targets.
* Client and team interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide technical assistance, and identify opportunities to upgrade or expand existing systems.
