About The Client
A leading provider of integrated electronic security systems, delivering end-to-end solutions across commercial, mining, defence, and government sectors with expertise in large-scale and high-security environments.
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer on behalf of our client to bridge the gap between technical expertise and client engagement. This role involves designing tailored security solutions, preparing technical proposals, and working closely with clients and the sales team to deliver cost-effective, compliant systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design integrated security systems (access control, CCTV, intercom, intrusion).
- Provide pre-sales technical support, documentation, and scope of works.
- Prepare quotations, tenders, and value-engineered proposals.
- Support the sales team in client meetings and presentations.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure solutions meet specifications and budget.
- Provide technical support to project teams during handover and implementation.
Skills & Experience Required
- 5+ years experience in the electronic security industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of Gallagher, Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon (or similar).
- Proven ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and tender documents.
- Skilled in preparing technical proposals and accurate cost estimates.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam (desirable).
Qualifications
- Trade or engineering qualification (Electrical, Security, or similar).
- Security licence (or eligibility to obtain).
- Current drivers licence.
