Our investment platforms are critical to how we manage, protect and grow our members' retirement savings. We're looking for a Senior Platform Delivery Manager - Investments to ensure those platforms remain reliable today, and continue to evolve for tomorrow.
In the simplest terms, this role is about making sure investment systems don't break, improve over time, and deliver what the business needs, without disruption.
Reporting into the Senior Manager, Investment Platforms, you'll be accountable for end‐to‐end platform delivery, balancing complex change initiatives with ongoing BAU enhancements. You'll work closely with investment stakeholders, architects, engineers, vendors and delivery teams to shape, prioritise and deliver outcomes in an iterative, transparent way.
This role suits someone with a strong technical delivery background, someone who can dive into the detail when required, think like an engineer or systems analyst, and confidently lead delivery conversations with senior stakeholders in a fast‐moving investment environment.
What You'll Do
* Own the end‐to‐end delivery, reliability and lifecycle management of assigned investment technology platforms
* Shape and manage the delivery pipeline, including demand management, backlog prioritisation and agile ceremonies
* Lead the delivery of complex technology initiatives, ensuring outcomes meet business, cost, quality and operational expectations
* Partner closely with architecture, engineering, security and service operations teams to deliver platform change aligned to roadmaps
* Manage delivery governance including planning, reporting, financials, risks, dependencies, testing, deployment and handover to support
* Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and vendors to ensure alignment, transparency and high levels of satisfaction
What You'll Need
* Extensive experience delivering highly complex technology initiatives across enterprise environments.
* Strong background in delivery management, with the ability to run multiple streams of work concurrently.
* Solid technical understanding, ideally from a systems analysis, engineering or technical delivery background.
* Experience working in Financial Services, with experience working within investment domains very highly regarded.
* Familiarity with major investment or trading platforms (e.g. Aladdin, Calypso or similar) is another strong advantage.
* Proven ability to work across Agile, hybrid and waterfall delivery models.
* Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and translating business needs into executable delivery plans.
* Strong vendor management capability in hybrid (insourced / outsourced) environments.
* Experience working with offshore or globally distributed teams.
* A calm, pragmatic delivery mindset - able to cut through complexity and keep work moving.
