* Supervise and direct the work of welders and fabricators
* Assess and allocate tasks based on team members' skills and experience
* Provide guidance, instruction, and mentorship to team members
* Monitor weld quality and ensure adherence to welding standards and procedures
* Evaluate and improve team performance
* Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and supervise a team of welders and fabricators in achieving project goals and objectives
2. Direct the work of fabricators and welders to ensure efficient production processes
3. Develop and implement plans for task allocation, goal setting, and performance evaluation
4. Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance overall performance
5. Investigate and address any issues related to weld quality or safety
Requirements
* Certificate III in Engineering (Welding Fabrication) or equivalent qualification
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to delegate tasks effectively and motivate team members
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders
