They produce high-quality chemicals, polishes, and related items on-site, supplying them across Australia and New Zealand through a network of franchisees. The team includes manufacturing, packing, dispatch, goods inward, administration, and receivables staff, with a supportive and customer-focused environment. About the role Storeperson x 2 – Goods Inward & Dispatch (Rathmines area, NSW) Immediate start available for two skilled warehousing roles in a busy, growing distribution and manufacturing facility. These positions involve hands-on warehouse operations, with one primarily in Goods Inward (receiving and checking stock) and the other in Dispatch (picking, packing, and coordinating shipments). Candidates may be allocated based on strengths, with potential for cross-training. The roles suit experienced storepersons who are confident with computer systems, stock control, and customer liaison (primarily with franchisees as the key client base). There is scope to step into supervisory duties when required, especially during absences, and long-term growth potential exists as the company expands (including exposure to future automation). Duties Dispatch-focused role: Pick, pack, and palletise orders (ranging from 200–400 x 20L items to multi-pallet shipments) Arrange transport bookings and coordinate pickups with 5–6 freight companies and franchisees Liaise regularly with franchisees (core customer base) to ensure smooth service Perform stock control, stock takes, and general warehouse duties Maintain high accuracy and efficiency in a team of 3–4 dispatch staff supervisor Goods Inward-focused role: Receive and check incoming stock against invoices, verifying quantities and quality (sampling ~10% on large deliveries) Perform data entry into the system with strong attention to detail Ensure inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies proactively Address bottlenecks through urgency and ownership Support general warehouse tasks in a team of 2–3 goods inward staff supervisor Skills and experience Proven experience in warehouse operations, ideally with exposure to both dispatch and goods inward (or strong capability in one with willingness to learn the other) Confidence using computer systems for data entry, stock control, inventory accuracy, and order processing (experience with warehouse management systems like Ostendo is advantageous but training provided) Forklift licence desirable (or willingness to obtain) Physically capable of manual handling, including lifting 20kg drums/boxes safely Strong organisational skills, high sense of urgency, ownership, and accuracy (especially for data entry and stock verification) Customer-focused mindset with good communication skills for liaising with franchisees and freight providers Proactive attitude and ambition for growth — ideal for someone who can be developed into future leadership or supervisory roles Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious Benefits Workwear provided (boots, pants, shirt – replaced annually) Regular staff events including monthly BBQs, end-of-financial-year, Melbourne Cup, and Christmas celebrations Occasional overtime with efficiency-focused scheduling Work hours: Mon–Thu 7:00–4:00, Fri 7:30–1:30 How to Apply If you are interested in joining a successful business for this fantastic full-time position, please send us your resume today.
