Are you an older adult? Do you like chatting with older adults, sharing information and public speaking? You can help others to stay healthy and prevent falls by volunteering to talk with groups of older adults about how to Stay On Your Feet. Stay On Your Feet is WA's falls prevention program for older adults living in the community. It educates community members, health professionals and community workers about how to prevent slips, trips and falls. Stay on Your Feet volunteers present educational information to community groups and organisations in their local area, about how they can prevent slips, trips and falls. Volunteers will receive full training and ongoing support from the Injury Prevention team and will be reimbursed for any travel costs. They may deliver presentations or attend displays throughout the year, depending on their own availability. Volunteers are required to provide their own transport.
