The Assistant Director, Learning, Education and Awareness is a senior role within the Information Design, Education and Communication Team supporting the Professional Standards Unit (PSU) and the Public Sector Standards Commissioner (PSSC). The role is responsible for strengthening whole‐of‐government capability in workplace issues and misconduct prevention, early intervention and education across the ACT Public Service (ACTPS). The position is responsible for designing, developing and delivering an integrated learning, education and awareness program informed by insights drawn from misconduct investigations, workforce data, and emerging integrity risks. This includes building a learning ecosystem comprising digital learning, face‐to‐face and virtual delivery, practical resources, and just‐in‐time guidance for diverse ACTPS audiences. This embedded role requires proactivity in understanding PSU and PSSC policies, processes, legislative context and integrity standards, and building strong relationships with PSU staff to tailor effective learning solutions. Proficient self‐directed learning and the ability to independently draft learning content, with SME review quality assurance, are essential.
