Location: Wodonga and working at GOTAFE locations on a very regular basis.

* Foster a proactive recovery and return-to-work culture by delivering targeted education.
* Coordinate workers compensation claims, with timely,and accurate management.
ABOUT THE ROLE

Wodonga TAFE and GOTAFE are seeking a proactive and compassionate Injury Management and Return to Work Advisor to lead the strategic and operational delivery of early intervention, injury management, and return to work processes across both organisations.
Selected Duties:
* Provide expert guidance on both work-related and non-work-related injuries or illnesses.
* Manage workers' compensation claims in line with legislation and organisational policies.
* Collaborate with employees, leaders, health professionals, and external stakeholders to facilitate safe and sustainable return to work outcomes.
* Lead complex case management and injury-related investigations.
* Deliver education and training to build organisational capability in early intervention and recovery-at-work principles.
ABOUT YOU
Skills & Experience

* A degree or relevant postgraduate qualification in Allied Health, or substantial experience in occupational rehabilitation or return to work.
* VIC RTW Co-ordinator certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* Must be an Australian Citizen to be able to gain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
* Desirable Experience liaising with insurers and workers' compensation authorities.
* Desirable Knowledge of psychosocial risks and how they influence return-to-work outcomes.
