Gold Coast Blinds & Shutters is a proud local business based in Currumbin. We design, manufacture, and install a wide range of premium indoor and outdoor window coverings, from plantation shutters and curtains to outdoor blinds and motorised systems.
As a fast-growing company with a reputation for quality and service, we're expanding our in-house installations team to help us continue delivering the high standards our customers expect—and deserve. The Role
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on individual who’s ready to jump into a physically active and dynamic role. Experience in a trade or construction is highly valued, but not essential—we’re more interested in your attitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
As an Installer, your day-to-day will involve:
* Installing Plantation Shutters (PVC & Aluminium)
* Fitting all types of Interior Blinds
* Assisting with Outdoor Blind installations alongside our team
* Hanging Curtains and Curtain Tracks
* Setting up Motorised Products and troubleshooting as needed
You’ll be dealing directly with customers, so confidence, communication, and professionalism are key. If you enjoy variety, autonomy, and working with a tight-knit team, this is the job for you.
What We’re Looking For
✅ A trade background (e.g. carpentry, cabinetry, construction) is highly regarded
✅ Solid understanding of building fixings and construction methods
✅ Great attention to detail and pride in delivering top-tier workmanship
✅ Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
✅ Able to problem-solve on the fly and work well both independently and in a team
