Due to our growth strategy and project portfolio, we are seeking a Corporate Accountant to join our head office team in Rhodes.
Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
* Reconcile GST and other statutory lodgments.
* Manage intercompany transactions across the Saunders Group.
* Reconcile bank and cash accounts.
* Process sales invoices and progress claims; follow up on outstanding trade debtors.
* Prepare key balance sheet reconciliations for the Saunders Group subsidiaries, adhering to deadlines.
* Prepare and process internal journals as needed.
* Support the half-year and year-end audit processes, liaising with external auditors.
* Ensure compliance with statutory and Group policies.
* Provide support to business units.
* Assist with ad hoc reporting requirements.
About You
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting.
* Minimum of 5 years' relevant industry experience.
* High accuracy and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software.
* Ability to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and executives.
* Enthusiasm for the role and a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Willingness to contribute to a productive and friendly team culture.
* CPA/CA qualification or studying towards it.
* Experience with Jobpac and project works is advantageous.
