Days and work are varied, and the team engages and collaborates widely across the University. About the opportunity As the Researcher Development Coordinator, you will proactively support and coordinate a variety of activities within the Researcher Development Unit to assist academic staff with their career development. Within this role you will have a strong focus on supporting future research leaders and play a vital role in the delivery of the training and development programs across the team. The successful candidate will have outstanding attention to detail and a passion for admin. Your key responsibilities will be to: work within a friendly and dynamic team, reporting to the Senior Researcher Development Officer support the delivery of highly engaging training programs and initiatives across multiple platforms and modes monitor and manage the event registration lifecycle from application to evaluation, providing first point of contact for stakeholder queries maintain accurate records for reporting and implement key coordination processes, including financial reconciliations Assist in updating and maintaining the team’s popular Researcher Development Hub website draft and manage communications ensuring accuracy and relevance to the purpose and target audience actively contribute to and promote a positive team culture, collaborative environment and enable team success. About you tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work experience in a related field demonstrated administrative experience in a complex environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail demonstrated experience in the planning and coordination of events, including engaging with external and third-party providers excellent administrative skills proven ability to build constructive working relationships with stakeholders from across an organisation high level communication skills with the ability to convey messages with professionalism and enthusiasm to a variety of audiences.
