DLA Piper's Litigation & Regulatory team in Sydney is growing, and we're looking for a talented Solicitor to join our high‐performing practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Gitanjali Bajaj, our globally recognised Partner and Asia‐Pacific Co‐Head of International Arbitration.
Gitanjali is a specialist in complex, high‐value international arbitration in the infrastructure, renewable energy and defence sectors, and public international law. You'll be joining a team recognised as Arbitration Practice Group of the Year at the Australian ADR Awards — a testament to our excellence and innovation in dispute resolution.
As a Solicitor In Our Team, You Will
* Collaborate with Partners and peers on the firm's Australian client strategy.
* Work on matters involving international arbitration in the infrastructure, renewable energy and defence sectors, and public international law matters involving maritime boundary delimitation, sovereignty and climate change issues.
* Support the delivery of high‐quality legal advice across multiple jurisdictions.
* Engage with DLA Piper's extensive global Litigation & Regulatory network.
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
* Experience in large‐scale international arbitration and domestic litigation
* Expertise or strong interest in public international law
* Excellent communication, drafting and organisational skills.
* A team‐oriented, collaborative approach.
* Minimum of 3–4 years PQE.
