The successful applicant's responsibilities will include assisting with the administration and lifecycle management of Moyne Shire Council's electronic and hardcopy records by ensuring that digitisation and registration activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and practices.

Qualifications



Essential

* Current driver licence
* Employee working with children check


Desirable


Completion of Diploma of Recordkeeping is desired at this level or less formal qualifications and have some relevant experience in records management, library or an information management role and be prepared to undertake further study to gain formal recordkeeping qualifications.


Experience



Essential


Demonstrated experience and skills in current records management principles and practices including knowledge of records management legislation and standards.


Desirable


Practical knowledge of local government functions and operations is preferable


Key selection criteria 1


Experience in using an EDRMS to capture and manage both electronic and hardcopy records.


Key selection criteria 2


Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software, including Outlook Word and Excel, together with advanced computer and keyboard skills is required.


Key selection criteria 3


Demonstrated experience and skills in current records management principles and practices including knowledge of records management legislation and standards.
