About you:
Plant your roots with us as our new Inventory Planning Coordinator where you will play a key role in support the effective planning, visibility and control of inventory across multiple third-party distributors to ensure our inventory is in the right location at the right time to meet demand. This position is key to ensuring our distributors are drawing down stock from our 3PL in line with forecasted demand to ensure MedReleaf Australia can maximise every sales opportunity. You will need to be an excel superstar that can use these skills to consolidate information ready to share with all levels within the organisation. This role works closely with internal teams and external distributors to ensure data accuracy, timely reporting, and alignment, with regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, particularly for monitoring stock levels addressing supply chain issues, and tracking shipments.

As the Inventory Planning Coordinator you will oversee...
* Maintain visibility of inventory levels across multiple external distributors and our 3rd party storage location.
* Collect, consolidate, and validate inventory reports (stock on hand, expiry, movements)
* Monitor inventory risks through close collaboration with key centralised stakeholders including slow-moving, short-dated, or excess stock
* Support inventory reconciliation activities and follow up discrepancies
* Act as the day-to-day coordination point with distributors for inventory and operational queries
* Review PO requests from our distributors to ensure their requests line up with sales and WOC requirements.
* Conduct regular checks on distribution portals to ensure data accuracy, including product data, stock on hand integrity.
Forecasting & demand planning support
* Coordinate demand forecasts from distributors and align these with the commercial team to ensure accuracy
* Consolidate multiple distributors demand plans into a single high-level demand plan
* Remain connected to our commercial team to ensure that any future promotional activity is incorporated into the high-level demand plan
* Track forecast accuracy in line with sales
* Support scenario planning and ad-hoc analysis to inform supply decisions
* Maintain forecast files, assumptions, and version control
Operational administration & reporting
* Support data quality, master data maintenance, and process documentation
* Coordinate inputs for S&OP or planning meetings where required
* Assist with process improvements across inventory, forecasting, and distributor reporting
* Ensure the Director for Supply Chain Operations has reliable and up to date reports
* Actively participate in strategic and operational meetings to enhance supply chain efficiency, align stakeholder priorities, and drive business objectives. This includes supporting Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) activities in collaboration with Aurora, ensuring stock accuracy, mitigating expiration risks, and achieving alignment across CAD and AUS regions.
* Build and Maintain relationships with distributors to ensure the upmost trust always remains
* Coordinate with distributors and 3rd parties to align on reporting formats, timelines, and expectations
* Escalate issues or risks with clear recommendations
Stock control
* Support distributors with stock take and cycle count reconciliation as required
* Reconciliation of distributor portals vs our internal systems to ensure stock balances match at all times
You'll be set up for success if you have...
* Experience in supply chain, inventory, operations, or planning support roles
* Very strong Excel skills including creation of files from scratch and files that consolidate information from multiple sources into readable data including pivot tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP's, VBA (Power BI exposure an advantage)
* Experience working with third-party distributors or external partners
* High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple data sources
* Strong communication skills and confidence coordinating across teams and teams from other regions and time zones
* Able to thrive in fast-paced environments, quickly adjusting to new challenges and priorities while maintaining focus on supporting supply chain efficiency, meeting deadlines, and ensuring smooth operations to drive team success and business objectives.
* Willingness to complete training and development to further increase capability and capacity.
