Salary: SCHADS SCS Level 4.2 $45.58 per hour plus 12% superannuation depending on experience

Description
About the role
You will support the delivery of Women's Centre programs that empower women and strengthen engagement, in line with Catherine House's mission.
Key responsibilities:
6. Manage the day-to-day operations of the Women's Centre, ensuring effective and high-quality service delivery.
7. Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for clients, staff, and volunteers.
8. Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, stakeholders, and clients to respond to changing community needs.
9. Develop and implement operational procedures, schedules, and program improvements.
10. Collect and analyse program data to support planning, reporting, and funding requirements.
11. Research and apply for grant funding and ensure compliance with funding and reporting obligations.
12. Recruit, induct, and support volunteers and relief Tutors
13. Coordinate Centre activities, events, and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
14. Support clients engagement in centre activities and education courses.
15. Support volunteers, tutors and other course facilitators who are delivery a workshop, course, information session or activity in the centre.
16. Act as the WHS site representative and contribute to the Centre's strategic planning and promotion.
Skills And Experiences
About you
You will have:
17. Relevant tertiary qualification in community or health services or equivalent experience
18. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgemental approach.
19. Ability to manage incidents, de-escalation and crisis situations calmly.
20. Understanding of women's homelessness, including the impacts of trauma, domestic violence, and mental health
21. Knowledge of privacy, confidentiality, and volunteer practice standards
22. Proven experience in a similar community, housing, or human services role
23. Experience in program coordination, reporting, and volunteer recruitment and support
24. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
25. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex client situations
26. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, using initiative and creativity
27. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
You must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
