Remuneration: $87,813.00 - $116,824.00 per annum

What you'll be doing

The Technical Support Officer (TSO) is responsible for the provision of technical support and advice to users across Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) and Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) platforms and technologies, while reporting to the ICT Workspace Service Delivery Manager to provide a high quality service consistent with the specific needs and strategic objectives of SNSWLHD and MLHD.

Selection Criteria
* A degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
* Demonstrated successful experience in providing technical support in a geographically dispersed, complex and diverse information technology environment in the health services or related fields.
* Demonstrated successful experience in the installation, maintenance and support of Personal Computer Operating Systems (i.e. Windows), Office Productivity Tools (i.e. Microsoft Office) and Network Operating System (i.e. Windows), at the server, workstation and end-user levels.
* Evidence of relevant IT certification qualifications, industry recognised experience relevant to supporting a large corporate desktop environment.
* Ability and commitment to work on a rotating on-call roster (24hours), including weekends and public holidays.
* Excellent interpersonal communication, verbal and written skills and demonstrated ability to consult, influence and negotiate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances.
