Role Overview
Effectively plan work to enable safe and efficient completion to the required standards of quality, cost and time.Competently use basic hand and power operated power tools and equipment and basic hydraulic and air tools.Use, interpret and apply drawings, diagrams, schedules, standards, codes and specifications.Effectively utilise computers and/or mobile devices for the completion of safety and other required documentation.Refurbishment, maintenance and repair of network mains and apparatus and associated equipment.Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be directed by your Manager, in line with the Work Level Standards and trade qualifications for this role.Conduct fault finding, testing and associated repair work.Undertake audits, inspections and compliance based documentation as per policies, standards and work instructions.Sound knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations and procedures such as safe working practices, WH&S; WorkCover – General Induction.Demonstrated experience in the application of manual handling techniques.Basic computer skills.Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating with others, including customers.Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work activities.Proven capability to work effectively independently, within a team or work crew.Demonstrated experience in the construction, refurbishment, maintenance and repair of network mains and apparatus and associated network equipment.Demonstrated experience in the trade role within the Workshop Services group that complement the services provided to electricity distribution industry.The organisation's Fundamental Training – e.g. EEO, Privacy etc.Qualifications
Qualified tradesman in: Cert III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or equivalent).Benefits
