Overview
Public Sector People are partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for a highly skilled Development Assessment Planner for a 3 months contract.
Competitive hourly rate: Up to $88 p/h + Super
Responsibilities
- Evaluate proposals to ensure compliance with local environmental plans (LEPs), development control plans (DCPs), and the NSW planning legislation.
- Provide recommendations and reports for council decision-making or delegated approvals.
- Consult with residents, developers, government agencies, and other stakeholders on planning matters.
Essential Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Urban/Town Planning or equivalent
- Minimum 3+ years experience in a Development Assessment Planning position or equivalent
