Overview
We are a privately owned hospitality group operating venues across Western Australia, including pubs, restaurants, takeaway outlets, and accommodation, with a growing winery brand. With current annual revenue of around $25m, we see marketing as critical to our next phase of growth.
The opportunity
We are looking for a hands-on Group Marketing Manager to own and deliver marketing across all venues and our winery. This role will suit someone who enjoys both strategy and execution: planning campaigns, creating content, managing agencies and using data to drive real results in the business.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute an annual and seasonal marketing plan for all businesses within the group, aligned to venue trading patterns and key tourism/workforce seasons.
* Manage and grow our social channels (for venues and the winery): content calendars, posting, community management and basic paid campaigns.
* Own our websites and online presence, ensuring menus, offers, events, hours and imagery are always up to date and optimised for bookings and enquiries.
* Build and segment email/SMS databases (locals, tourists, wine club, corporate/workforce clients) and run regular campaigns that drive visits, bookings and wine sales.
* Lead direct-to-consumer growth for the winery: wine club, seasonal offers, online sales funnels and venue-based wine events.
* Monitor and respond to online reviews and manage all listings (Google Business Profiles, TripAdvisor, OTAs, delivery platforms).
* Work closely with venue managers and the owners to understand priorities and convert them into targeted campaigns, events and offers.
* Brief and manage external specialists (performance ads, web development, design, photography) within agreed budgets.
* Report regularly on performance and ROI, using clear metrics and practical recommendations.
Qualifications
* 3+ years' experience in marketing, ideally in hospitality, tourism, retail or wine.
* Strong, hands-on skills in social media, email marketing and basic digital advertising (Meta and Google).
* Comfortable using tools like Canva, basic photo/video editing and scheduling platforms.
* Confidence with analytics (Google Analytics or similar, social insights) and turning data into action.
* Excellent written communication and a feel for brand and tone of voice.
* Highly organised, able to juggle multiple venues, deadlines and stakeholders.
* Willingness to travel regularly to visit venues, capture content and support local teams.
What we offer
* Full-time role, with regular regional travel.
* Package in the range of approximately $120,000–$140,000 base plus super, depending on experience and capability.
