Maintenance Manager Role
We are seeking a professional with a proven track record of collaborating with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
* Conducting facilities inspections, overseeing procurement of equipment, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and maintaining a preventative maintenance programme to create a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for guests.
* Pre-opening team member responsible for preparing the new hotel for its first guests, including coordinating with contractors and vendors, managing daily maintenance needs, and creating a positive impression for both guests and colleagues alike.
* A master multi-tasker position that requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to explore new ways of working.
A day in the life of this role includes:
1. Ensuring all equipment is installed and in working order prior to opening, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests.
2. Collaborating with the finance team to develop budgets and forecasts for the maintenance department.
3. Liaising with contractors and vendors to develop and maintain maintenance agreements and good working relationships.
