About The Role
As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for managing a large scale in-flight ITS infrastructure project as well as two smaller initiatives which are at discovery phase. With an ability to deal with an extremely complex network environment and ambiguous requirements you will be able to deliver projects to a high standard while you identify and mitigate risks, and lead project teams in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong focus on large-scale asset refreshes, including at international locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Including standard Project Management responsibilities you will be responsible for the following;
* Manage ITS infrastructure projects end-to-end, utilising iterative approaches.
* Monitor and report on project progress to ensure successful business outcomes.
* Oversee complex infrastructure projects, managing impacts, resources, and external stakeholders.
* Ensure project, quality, and change control plans are maintained, providing regular updates.
* Lead the project change management process, ensuring delivery within budget and timeframe.
* Assist with pipeline demands and stakeholder consultation.
What You'll Bring
* Substantial experience in ITS Infrastructure project management within large organisations, with a comprehensive understanding of the project life cycle.
* Proven experience in large-scale asset refresh projects, including remote and international locations.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, issue-driven environment.
* Strong budget accountability with meticulous attention to project reporting and finances.
* Excellent negotiation, defect, and vendor management skills, ensuring external vendors deliver to KPIs.
* Exceptional communication, facilitation, and influencing skills, adaptable to diverse stakeholders, with strong written communication.
* Project management certifications with a strong track record of delivering projects to PRINCE2 or PMP methodologies.
Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and extensive experience are required.
* Current project management education or accreditation is essential.
