PURPOSE
To undertake a range of warehouse duties including receiving, picking, packing and dispatching orders.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Daily pick, pack and dispatch of orders to meet deadlines.
* Receive and check inwards goods.
* Re‐stocking shelves and rotation of stock.
* Ensure goods movement complies with all official documentation.
* Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse.
* Assist in reviewing warehouse/product layouts.
* Breaking down of stock items into smaller units of measure.
* General warehouse duties.
* Assist with managing inventory levels to minimise lost sales due to stock outage.
* Assist with inventory management through routine stock takes and reconciliations as required.
* Communicating with team members to ensure that all product images, codes, descriptions are up to date.
* Liaise with team members to increase the efficiency of daily operation.
* Being a small business, you may need to pitch in to fulfil any other responsibilities from time to time.
* Operate the Walk Behind Forklift.
* Order Picker and Wave.
* Undertake local deliveries throughout the week.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
* Be punctual and work the hours and times specified.
* Prioritise workload to ensure work of the greatest importance to the business is undertaken with urgency and to a high standard.
* Support and help develop a positive workplace culture.
* Responsibly manage all business resources within accountability levels.
* Undertake all duties and responsibilities outlined in this job description and all other duties as required by the business.
* Comply with all employment obligations.
* Promptly undertake to complete all reasonable and lawful instructions and directions given.
* Serve the business in good faith, promoting and protecting the business's best interests.
* During work time, and such other times as may be reasonably required, dedicate all effort to the execution and fulfilment of the duties, responsibilities, obligations and instructions related to employment.
* Demonstrate through own actions a commitment to Work Health and Safety at work when undertaking work or observing others in the workplace.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Excellent organizational skills
* Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 20kgs
* Full driver license (essential)
