About The Role
We're looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our Ventilation manufacturing site at Seven Hills. This is a permanent, full-time role within a well-established factory environment, supporting production operations and material movement across the site.
Our Seven Hills site includes a warehouse, distribution centre, and factory. This role sits within the factory, supporting production teams directly.
Working hours 6:55am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday with On-site parking available
The role
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll be responsible for safely operating forklifts to keep production moving efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities Include
Operating forklifts to load, unload, transport and store materials
Conducting pre-shift forklift checks
Supporting production lines with pallets, cages, cartons and materials
Handling coils and prioritising tool changes in the Press Shop (using a coil tipper)
Maintaining accurate inventory records and completing paperwork
Maintaining clean, safe work areas
Minor forklift care (battery water top-ups, general cleaning)
Following all safety procedures — seatbelts, speed limits, pedestrian awareness
Assisting with manual handling and ad-hoc tasks as required
This is an active, hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in doing the basics properly, every shift.
About You
You're someone who turns up, works safely, and pulls their weight. You don't cut corners, you look out for your teammates, and you take pride in keeping the yard organised.
Current Forklift Licence - Essential
Previous experience operating a forklift in a Production or Warehouse environment
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
Confidence working around production lines
Basic mechanical awareness
Ability to handle manual tasks as part of the role
A cooperative, reliable approach to work
Clear communication skills and a team-first mindset
