We're seeking individuals with a professional background in Nursing interested in working in Occupational Rehabilitation in Port Macquarie, NSW.
In this role, you'll enjoy flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You'll have the support of a strong, close team of driven healthcare professionals with the backing and resources of a global corporate infrastructure. You'll provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with various conditions, supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
Your duties will include:
* Case management with manageable caseloads and support from Rehabilitation Assistants
* Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
* Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
* Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and allied health professionals
* Working across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, and employer-funded injury prevention programs
* Assisting clients to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes
* Completing assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments

You'll be a driven and energetic professional with:
* Tertiary qualifications in Nursing
* Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Nurse
* Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded;
* Fabulous communication skills, with empathy and compassion
* Well-developed time management skills
* A current NSW Driver's Licence and access to a car with comprehensive insurance
