About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Clerk to join the dynamic team based at our Rockingham, WA dealership. As an Accounts Clerk, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial support and administrative assistance to the accounting department.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing general accounting duties such as data entry, reconciliations, and invoice processing
- Maintain customer and supplier accounts as per dealership guidelines
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient financial operations
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Following up on debtor and manufacturer claims according to company policy
- Supplier reconciliations and payments
- Adhering to company policies, procedures, and deadlines
Requirements
- Experience with Revolution (REV's) software is highly regarded
- Experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable or a similar financial role
- Minimum of 3+ years experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Robust attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficiency in using accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software with the ability to utilise complex features
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Australian work authorisation is required for this position
