We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a full-time permanent Merchandise and Store Person to join our Parkes branch to help support instore sales of our agricultural merchandise products.
About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Branch Manager. You will be responsible for assisting sales and administration support, as well as ensuring orders are received and dispatched for delivery safely and on-time. Tasks are varied and will include:
* Performing general administrative tasks including stock control and dispatching of goods
* Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
* Processing counter sales
* Forklift operation and on-farm deliveries
* Inventory control
* Maintaining safety processes
* Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. In addition, you will demonstrate:
* A proactive approach to work and practical organization skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Effective verbal communication skills to build solid long‑term customer relationships
* Full drivers' licence required; an MR licence and forklift ticket are advantageous
