Positions Available - Food & Beverage Attendant (2 Positions)
The Douglas Community & Sports Club Inc. trading as The Tin Shed, is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Attendant. This is a full-time position. Salary $72,499.44 AUD per annum plus superannuation.
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team in a fast-paced hospitality environment, delivering high-quality food and beverage service to members and guests.
F&B Attendant – Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
· Providing customer service to members and guests in a professional and friendly manner
· Taking and processing food and beverage orders
· Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
· Delivering meals and drinks to tables
· Clearing tables and resetting dining areas for service
· Operating point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling payments
· Maintaining cleanliness of bar, dining, and service areas
· Assisting with stock replenishment and general bar duties
· Providing menu information and responding to customer enquiries
· Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
· Adhering to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements
· Working collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Skills and Competencies
· Customer service and communication skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
· Teamwork and reliability
· Basic cash handling and POS operation
Conditions of Work
· Includes shift work, weekends, and public holidays
· Requires standing for extended periods
