People Who Care is seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Assistant Manager.
About the Role:
This position combines operational oversight with team support to ensure the consistent delivery of safe, person-centred, and high-quality services. As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with our Coordinators to ensure services align with relevant legislation and organisational policies. Your primary focus will be the effective operational running and continuous improvement of allocated services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support staff delivering Transport & Social Support services across multiple regions
* Monitor service quality, performance targets, and client outcomes
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies
* Assist in managing program budgets and accurate record-keeping
* Support new referral growth and stakeholder engagement
* Collaborate with the People & Culture team to support recruitment, training, and performance reviews
Requirements:
* Current Driver's Licence and National Police Clearance
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Demonstrated experience leading community or aged care services
* Strong understanding of Social Support program delivery
* Ability to support teams through change and continuous improvement
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and record-keeping systems
* A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable community members
