* Electrical faults, diagnosis, and repairs
* Braking systems diagnosis and repairs
* Component overhauls
* Driveline repairs
* Preventative maintenance services and repairs
* Offsite and breakdown repairs
About Your Future Team
This role will be based at our Volvo Commercial Vehicles dealership in Blacktown, part of Volvo Group Australia. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the team of 60 workshop staff includes Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Apprentices, Service Advisors, and Costing Clerks. The VCV Blacktown dealership prides itself on an inclusive and stable work environment.
We Are Looking For
* A Heavy Vehicle mechanical qualification (Fitter qualifications are not accepted)
* Experience working with Volvo, Mack, UD, or other European truck or bus brands
* Some exposure to light auto-electrical work
* A proactive attitude with a drive to work efficiently
* A positive safety attitude with a team-focused mindset
* Appropriate Australian working rights for a permanent full-time role
Your Benefits Package
* A starting hourly rate between $39.54 - $47.75, depending on experience + afternoon shift loading
* Yearly rate increases in line with our EBA
