Wiseway Logistics (WWG) is an ASX listed fast growing international freight forwarding company, with a global footprint, with eight offices Australia wide, with international expansion in New Zealand, China, Singapore, and USA. We are a licensed customs broker with custom bonded warehouses.
Due to company growth and expansion in workload, we are seeking experienced Forklift operators to join our warehouse team at Thomastown.
The Role:
You will be responsible for:
Forklift operation in variable storage environment (dry and cold storage)
Efficiently load and unload freight from trucks and placing them in their allocated areas
Packing and unpacking of aircraft/shipping containers
Pallet stacking and wrapping
Assisting to prepare and repack cargo/freight for delivery
Accurate weighing and labelling of cargo
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of WHS and compliance requirements
Manual handling - repetitive work with occasional heavy lifting involved
Stock control and management
Follow procedures and communicate effectively with supervisors and other warehouse team members
Overall warehouse duties – general maintenance and cleaning of warehouse
To be successful, you will need to have the following:
Current and Valid forklift licence with experience
Experience in a warehouse environment (preferred)
Good time management with attention to details
Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
Must be physically fit
Strong all round safety awareness
A team player who is willing to provide support to the wider team
