Our client is a regional independent PR agency, known for helping disruptive tech and innovation brands tell their stories and drive growth in new markets. With offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and Singapore, this agency is looking for an experienced Account Director OR Senior Account Director to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping the agency's future.
What You'll Be Doing
Our client is hiring at either the Account Director or Senior Account Director level, depending on experience and appetite for broader leadership responsibility.
In this role, you will own senior client relationships end to end, acting as a trusted advisor while guiding teams to consistently deliver high‑quality, strategically strong work.
You'll shape communications strategies and narratives, oversee earned‑led integrated campaigns, and ensure programmes are commercially sound, well‑resourced and delivered to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and nurture senior client relationships from strategy through to delivery
* Translate business objectives into clear communications strategies and compelling narratives
* Guide positioning, media engagement, thought leadership and campaign delivery
* Oversee integrated programmes and maintain consistent quality standards
* Manage account performance, resourcing and commercial health
* Identify risks and opportunities early and manage them proactively
* Lead, mentor and develop high‑performing teams
* Contribute to agency growth through client expansion and, at senior level, new business activity
* Represent the agency within the tech and innovation ecosystem through profile building and industry engagement
Who You Are
* You have 7+ years of PR experience, ideally with a focus on B2B, tech, corporate or innovation‑led clients.
* You thrive in leadership roles, balancing strategic counsel with hands‑on execution.
* You bring commercial acumen and can confidently manage account budgets and planning cycles.
* You have a strong media network and can translate trends into strategic opportunities for clients.
* You're an entrepreneurial spirit, excited about helping shape the future of a growing agency.
