About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Development Leader to spearhead our ambitious plans for growth in Private Development Services.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to our strategy as we launch into new projects.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will engage in the end-to-end delivery of development and infrastructure projects, from feasibility through to construction and handover.
Duties include preparing and managing project documentation including scopes, schedules, budgets, risk registers, procurement plans, and tender submissions.
Stakeholder Engagement and Management
The Senior Development Leader will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, councils, government authorities, consultants, and contractors.
They will coordinate multidisciplinary inputs (engineering, planning, surveying, environmental) to ensure integrated and timely project outcomes.
Financial and Commercial Acumen
The role requires managing project financial performance including forecasting, resource planning, reporting, and commercial risk.
Business Development and Leadership
The Senior Development Leader will participate in business development, proposal preparation, and strategic planning initiatives.
Leadership and Team Management
They will lead and deliver multidisciplinary development and infrastructure projects within Tasmania and other states.
The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative and autonomy while applying sound judgement across diverse technical and planning domains.
Additionally, they will provide leadership to project teams including mentoring junior team members.
