Perioperative Medicine Specialist
Launceston General Hospital's Perioperative Medicine Unit seeks a highly skilled and dedicated specialist to provide expert care to surgical patients.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical assessment skills, be able to manage patient cases effectively, and demonstrate excellent collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.
* Perform thorough clinical assessments and develop comprehensive patient management plans.
* Contribute to outpatient clinics, ward rounds, and participate in research initiatives to drive quality improvement.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams, oversee residents, and ensure seamless discharge planning and administrative processes.
General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Current Working with Children Registration (if applicable) are mandatory. Over 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in related fields is preferred.
