APS5 or APS6 level available
ACM Healthcare has a requirement for either an APS5 or APS6 level Junior Data Analyst to work within the Data and Research Branch of a Federal Government Department. This role is full time, initially 12 months with availability within the Canberra Barton office.
Responsibilities:
Review, analyse, and archive technical system data and alerts to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies across installed countermeasure systems (e.g., alarms, access control, CCTV, and other security technologies).
Draft and deliver materials that support the development of organisational data and analytics capabilities.
Analyse and interpret data from multiple sources to produce insightful reports on security events, incidents, and trends.
Develop and enhance reporting frameworks to ensure outputs are accurate, complete, and delivered in a timely manner.
Collaborate with stakeholders across security and operational teams, including senior leadership, to support improved data and analytics capabilities.
Provide data preparation, visualisation, and presentation support on key security-related priorities and initiatives.
Contribute to change initiatives involving data governance and data process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Criteria:
Experience in dealing with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word, Working knowledge of MS Power BI and data visualisation.
Demonstrated capacity to participate in discussions that identify solutions to data, system, or procedural issues.
This is a security designated position, and you will be required to obtain/maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 security clearance.
As this role is within a Federal Government department you would need to be an Australian Citizen at time of commencement.
