**About the Team**
This Commonwealth Agency aims to contribute to a fair, safe and just society by delivering an effective, independent prosecution service in accordance with the Prosecution Policy of the Commonwealth.

The Agency prosecutes crimes including child exploitation, revenue and benefits fraud, commercial fraud and large-scale and cross-border organised criminal activity including drug offences, money laundering, human trafficking, slavery and terrorism offences.

**Position Summary**

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Provide and ensure the provision of comprehensive support to the executive to assist fulfil all aspects of statutory, leadership and management responsibilities
- Work closely and effectively with members of the Executive Leadership Group and their direct reports
- Manage key external stakeholder relationships and stakeholder engagement
- Develop and produce material for the Executive including (for example) drafting meeting agendas and papers, reports, public presentations, correspondence, ministerial/parliamentary briefs, staff messages (including undertaking related research)
- Support the Executive in preparing for meetings, committee hearings, Senate Estimates and other Parliamentary hearings
- Provide secretariat support for Executive including compiling agenda's, drafting and disseminating papers, taking minutes and following up actions
- Participate in project working groups and committees, as required
- Represent the Exucitive in a professional, respectful and courteous manner.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience in a public sector role and understanding of the Commission's role as the national regulator of aged care.
- Proven capability to anticipate, analyse and assess issues in a timely manner and initiate action aimed at achieving desired outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with executives and a wide range of other staff across the organisation, and with external stakeholders
- Strong track-record of success in providing leadership and guidance to high-performing teams in a complex, demanding environment
- Highly-developed written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate information accurately, concisely and with influence
- Demonstrated competence in systems thinking with strong organisational skills including the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, work effectively under pressure and work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to travel interstate when required.

**The following essential checks/clearances are required to perform the role**:

- Active Baseline Clearance or NV1
