The culture is performance-driven yet grounded in values of safety, care, and integrity.The PositionReporting into the Group General Manager - Operations, the Head of Engineering is a key leadership role responsible for driving the operational excellence, reliability and continuous improvement of the company's processing and distribution facilities.Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the maintenance and compliance programs across the groups operations to maintain safety, compliance and reliability.
Lead a large maintenance/reliability team,across multiplesites,and a PMO/engineering capital projects team.
Ensurethe effective delivery of strategic engineering initiatives, capital projects, maintenance programs, and technical innovation across the group.
Lead systems development and implementation across group sites.
Review, audit and optimise scheduling systems and processes.
Evaluate alignment with business requirements and develop recommendations on system improvements, compliance and regulatory obligations.
Develop and implement engineering strategies to optimise site processing and distribution facilities.
Build the engineering capacity to support the group Recommend best practice capability, equipmentenhancements, drive innovation and technology throughout the organisation.
Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical preferred).
Minimum of 10 years experience in engineering roles within the food processing industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
