About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Production Operator to join our team. This role involves handling raw materials, preparing chemical blends, and ensuring safe and efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Pick raw materials to make batches of liquid chemicals.
* Mix chemical blends to varying concentrations as per specifications.
* Operate equipment for pumping liquids and dissolving powders in solutions.
* Fill packages with chemicals, ranging from 5 litres to 1,000 litres in size.
* Perform manual lifting of bags up to 25 kg.
* Operate a forklift as required.
* Maintain a clean and tidy production area, ensuring hazards are minimized.
About You
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably working with chemicals.
* Hold a current Australian forklift licence (LF).
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail, as paperwork is involved in this position.
* Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
* Committed to safe operations and adherence to procedures.
