This position is responsible for the strategic development and management of a range of health promotion and social connection programs, also overseeing the operations of the Archie Graham Community Centre.The successful applicant will have a demonstrated understanding and commitment to the philosophy and principles of client-centred service delivery, partnership development and facility management.They will be responsible for leading and managing programs, teams, supporting team members to deliver agreed program outcomes and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support the work of the Community Support team.They will also be required to assist in the management of financial and human resource requirements within the area of responsibility.Well-developed people management skills leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high quality results is highly regarded.The BenefitsThis is a permanent full time position which carries a current starting salary of $98,211.49 per annum, exclusive of superannuation.Council also offers a range of other benefits for its employees, including:Ongoing training and developmentDiscount to Council owned facilitiesPaid parental leaveEmployee Assistance ProgramLong service leave (pro-rata) after 7 yearsPlease note, that all prospective Warrnambool City Council employees will be required to undertake a medical assessment.
