Role Description
There are on-site casual roles available througuout Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan and Gold Coast for qualified Support Workers. Support Workers assist clients with daily living tasks, provide emotional support, and ensure their safety and well-being. Responsibilities include implementing safeguarding practices, maintaining open and supportive communication with clients and their families, and addressing individual needs effectively. The role also can involves working collaboratively with other team members to deliver tailored support services.
Qualifications
* Experience in support work or as a Support Worker is required
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships
* Knowledge of safeguarding practices to ensure client safety
* Excellent communication skills, including active listening and empathy
* Basic technical skills relevant to providing support services
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
* Relevant certifications or training in support work or related fields is preferable
* Current First Aid and CPR qualifications are an advantage
* Clean vehicle and current drivers license with comprehensive car insurance
