Rubberline, an industry-leading company specialising in conveyor installation and servicing, is expanding We are seeking multiple full-time team members for the following roles: Conveyor Belt Technicians, Belt Splicers, Rubber Liners, Trainees, and Trades Assistants.
Location:
These roles are NOT FIFO and are based in Victoria, where you'll join our close-knit team to service a variety of clients across the region.
Positions Available:
Conveyor Belt Technicians, Belt Splicers, Rubber Liners, Trainees, Trades Assistants
Key Criteria:
* Proven experience in the trade
* Solid knowledge of conveyor systems and products
* Ability to identify, repair, and replace damaged conveyor belts and rubber components
* Skilled with industry-specific tools
* Proficiency with glues and adhesives
* Basic mechanical knowledge
* Years of conveyor belt/rubber lining experience for technician roles is open to discussion based on individual circumstances
Trainees/Trades Assistants
Key Criteria:
* Eagerness to learn and develop within the industry
* Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when needed
* Commitment to building a long-term career
* Strong focus on safety and quality
* Valid driver's license
* Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Responsibilities:
* Install new conveyor belts
* Perform hot and cold splicing and repairs
* Diagnose and repair common conveyor belt issues
* Conduct basic rigging
* Replace and maintain conveyor components such as rollers, skirts, and scrapers
* Perform conveyor system inspections and audits
* Manufacture specialized components onsite and in the workshop
* Apply rubber lining
What You Bring:
* Strong work ethic
* Current driver's license
* Ability to work safely in industrial settings
* Certifications in Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, and EWP (Elevated Work Platforms) are highly regarded
* Australian work rights are required for this position

Salary Range: $77,000 - $100,000 (based on experience)
