Position Overview
Queensland Childcare Services (QCCS) is seeking passionate Lead Educators to join Lockyer Valley Early Education Centre (EEC). Schedule: Monday – Friday, up to 38 hours per week (flexible options available). Location: Gatton. Compensation: Up to $44/hr + super + 10% retention.
Lead Educator
Lead Educators are responsible for guiding a room with creativity and confidence, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality educational programs.
Responsibilities
* Lead curriculum planning and program delivery for children aged 0–5 years
* Mentor and support Assistant Educators
* Foster inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environments
* Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and centre standards
Qualifications & Attributes
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education
* Current Blue Card
* Leadership experience and strong curriculum knowledge
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
