As our Dealer Co-ordinator / Lifestyle Consultant, you'll work closely with sales and leadership teams to deliver tailored aftermarket solutions, exceed performance targets and be a true ambassador for the brand—combining commercial acumen with exceptional service to make every customer journey memorable.
Basic Functions:
The Lifestyle Consultant carries out a range of duties related to the selling of aftermarket products to customers, who are purchasing a vehicle, including:
* Maintaining a high knowledge level about the manufacturer(s) products and vehicles
* Handling telephone queries.
* Ordering product for guests.
* Understanding cost benefits reasoning analysis among product range and communicating to clients.
* Understanding our guests' objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes and forming long term business partnerships in order to leverage future transactions / purchases.
* Conducting product demonstrations (as required).
* Liaising with Vehicle Sales Managers to arrange appropriate training for sales staff.
* Assisting with the preparation of product delivery to ensure that the extras or options are included.
* Updating daily activity log
* Setting departmental goals and activities designed to further those goals
Specific Responsibilities:
Customer Satisfaction
* Attending to customer complaints, ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction is obtained.
* Visiting key clients on a regular basis to maintain and further develop relationships.
* Analysing all suggestions and complaints from customers and provide prompt and fair adjustments where necessary as advised by departmental managers.
* Continuously monitoring customer service quality and develop systems to correct and improve performance where necessary.
* Helping other departments in whatever way you can to assist in customer satisfaction.
* Achieving and exceed the Manufacturer's CS expectations.
Financial Control
* Creating the annual dealership sales forecasts by estimating total sales, gross and operating profits as well as expenses for the Lifestyle department.
* Ensure daily DOC is completed.
* Attend and contribute to weekly DOC meetings.
* Meeting with vehicle sales managers to plan and implement objectives for achieving sales and gross profits.
* Meeting with the dealership's Managing Director/Dealer Principal to review departmental performance.
* Analysing and eliminating practices that waste supplies, space and time and provide feedback through meetings with the respective managers.
General
* Coordinate and conduct weekly sales meetings in conjunction with the relevant Department Managers
* In conjunction with the IT Manager, compare, identify and implement appropriate technology (e.g., ERA showroom) to suit the needs of the relevant departments.
* Develop a 5-year business plan for the Lifestyle department, tracking and reviewing on a regular basis, and amending when necessary.
* Set and review monthly and quarterly sales objectives.
* Maintain suitable working conditions by ensuring safety standards adhered to and clean premises and surrounds.
* Promote the dealership.
* Be an ambassador of the dealership.
Personnel
* Ensure that substitute staff are familiar with department operations and company policies (including WHS procedures).
Marketing and Advertising
* Overseeing standards for displaying and merchandising new vehicles as well as reviewing and approving all promotions before they are finalised.
* Working directly with the Managing Director/Dealer Principal and Marketing Manager on making recommendations on both short and long-range advertising plans and sales promotions.
* Seek and provide market and competitor information for evaluation.
* Provide sales staff with information that will create new business.
* In conjunction with Marketing Manager, contribute to and assist with the development of the annual and monthly marketing budgets.
Skills & Experience:

* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role in the automotive industry or in a sales or customer service based role.
