About the role
Our Parts Interpreters/Store Person provide accurate technical parts support to trade, industrial and mining customers, leveraging their expert automotive/mechanical knowledge. They assist customers with product information and advice, use sales techniques, and help problem‐solve to provide solutions. The role also involves assisting in the warehouse and accurately picking, packing and dispatching stock orders on time while keeping the warehouse tidy.
Responsibilities
* Interpret parts
* Process stock: receive, dispatch & store
* Process customer orders
* Efficiently dispatch products and parts
* Promote specials
* Arrange buy ins
* Process customer credits
* Serve as first point of contact for customers (in-person and over the phone)
* Contribute to a culture of safety by putting safety first and ensuring that we all make it safe & make it home
Qualifications
* Parts interpreting "know how" (technical parts knowledge)
* Passion for providing exceptional customer experiences
* Confidence in sharing your "know how" and ability to communicate in a way the customer can understand
* Innovative and collaborative approach to work
* Solution focused / problem solver
* Sound computer skills
* Comfortable working in a fast‐paced and dynamic environment as part of a high‐performing team
* Conscious of workplace safety at all times
