The plant employs approximately 500 team members with a current processing capacity of 700 head of beef cattle per day, operating 6 days/week.
About the Role JBS Rockhampton is currently recruiting an experienced and professional Electrician to join our team.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is responsible for providing electrical maintenance support across the plant as required.
Your key responsibilities will include: Ensure the availability, reliability and capability of the plant assets Monitor, follow up and address issues associated with the implementation and progress of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks Ensuring all electrical work is carried out to meet company safety and housekeeping requirements and conforms to all relevant regulations Time management, task ownership and ability to work autonomously and in a team Be actively involved with inspections of equipment undergoing rebuild or repair A $5,000 Sign-On bonus is available to applicable candidates.
Conditions apply About You Experience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment would be a strong advantage A thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices Understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures Able to demonstrate integrity and a professional work attitude Highly developed time management and multi-tasking skills Ability to work shift work including rotating roster, day and afternoon shift.
